RESIN ALLERGY
Hi!
I am back and here to talk about resin or epoxy allergy, apparently this is vey common to occur, I did not know about this and you here on this blog for first time then welcome to this blog where I share my learnings every week. I work with resin and having using it for last 1 1/2 month, when I first tried resin it was completely experimental and its just and resin that my dad had gotten me but when I actually started to work with resin I had used the haksons resin from bohri ali its a company for epoxy and resin art material. so when I first used rein I did not have proper equipment's for the process and got in contact with resin which had caused me having skin irritation I thought it was due old resin hence did not pay attention to it then but when I actually started using resin, I used high gloss resin that bohri ali provides for coating only I wasn't allergic to it but then I got the casting resin that is ulta clear, my skin reacted in 30 mins after the used of it despite having all the proactive equipment's I had some how managed to get little resin on my hand and the reaction was pretty violet and 1 had no idea what has caused the cause as far as I know I haven't eaten anything out of ordinary and I couldn't think of resin cause I have used it before but nothing really happened previously so why now?
The allergic reaction that I occurred were skin irritation, skin burning, some parts of the body had more than the other it went on for more than a week I couldn't stop scratching it and since its winter my skin is more dry than usual and scratching it almost made me rip my sink of, so first 2 day were the worst but then it drastically fades and out nowhere it just come back on certain body area which is the worst, I don't know if there is any cure to this but I guess I am going to maintain my distance with resin now .
I was excited to try out my ideas in this field and now I cant even touch it but that's okay I got time to discover more new interests and open my mind to more new opportunities.
