BAD RESIN ART INTO CUTE GIFT

 Hi.

So today is my dad's birthday and I am going to share my experience on how I turned bad resin art into cute gift.

Actually I wasn't even going to make my dad something, the idea only stuck me when I had ruined my resin art, so here's a thing I am very new to resin art and I was experimenting and trying my luck out but very much ended up failing and the results were very disappointing obviously and was not going to waste another canvas and throw in trash can, that's how the idea of doing something creative came to my mind.

To be honest that's my talent to ruin something and then turn it into cute art work and all of this happens and last moment, I mean I know I have an entire week to do things but no my mind will only have idea's at last one day to make things better but I guess that's who I am.

THINGS I LEARNED DURING THE PROCESS

  • don't play with same color pallet add a different color to to make it more popping and interesting
  • don't blow-dry too much
  • BE PATIENT, no seriously be patient
  • give resin some time to settle in
  • be careful while doing resin with dark colors
SO THIS MY FINAL PRODUCT

PICTURES FROM BEGNING TILL END

NOTES TO BE MADE

While doing this entire process 1 major thing I kept in my mind was color combination, green is a color that I don't usually work with therefore leading with this color was a task, while I could have gone with white but it would have been too common and then later decide to go with pink and its shade, I could have gone with yellow but it would not highlight the portrait as much as it should, I had even carefully thought what portrait color combination would go well to highlight the the work.

This portrait of me and dad are done with acrylic paint pens and acrylic paint.
during this process 1 have also learned a new method of rein art which I am really excited to try I will share my share my experiment in the next resin blog till then you can check out my page when I do little bit of journaling as well.

THANKYOU!
